name from an author's address. Combine an Address search with an Author search
to broaden or narrow your search results.

Guidelines for Entering Address Terms
Be aware that many address terms and their abbreviations are non-English.

Use wildcards to find variants of terms. For example,
Penn* State Univ* matches Penn State Univ., Pennsylvania State Univ., and
Pennsylvania State University.
Join multiple words or phrases with the search operators AND, OR, or
NOT. For example:

Astron AND Sheffield finds records where Astron and Sheffield are in
the same address (that is, Dept. of Phys. & Astron., Univ. of Sheffield, UK).

Harvard OR Yale finds records where either Harvard or Yale is in the
Address field.

Kings NOT UK finds records where Kings is in the Address field but UK
is not.

Search Tips

To search on an address that contains a Boolean (AND, OR, NOT, and SAME), enclose
the name in quotation marks. Example: Portland "OR"

Inspec abbreviates many address terms. Note that you need not include the period
