Meeting Information includes meeting/conference titles, locations, sponsors, and dates. You can use the asterisk wildcard (*) and the search operators AND, OR, and NOT in this field.

Often, just a few words connected by AND will be enough to search for a particular meeting. For example, to find records of papers from the 2000 International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing held in Istanbul, Turkey, you could enter:

acoustics AND Istanbul AND 2000

Or you could enter:

acoustics AND speech AND 2000

If you are looking for a particular conference proceedings paper, you might combine a search by Meeting Information with a Topic or an Author search. For example:

TOPIC: watermark* AND key
MEETING INFORMATION: Istanbul AND 2000

AUTHOR: Moreau N*
MEETING INFORMATION: acoustics AND 2000

Caution

Do not use the SAME operator to combine terms in the Meeting Information field. Use AND to combine terms that you want to find in the same record.
