If your institution subscribes to Current Contents Connect, you may use the Create Alert feature to create and maintain a list of journals that you frequently read. You can also use this list to create and maintain the latest Table of Contents via e-mail alerts.
Note: Holidays in India can delay regularly scheduled updates to Current Contents. If you do not receive a journal alert on the expected date, the next scheduled alert will include data from the previously scheduled alert. No journals issues are skipped because of holidays.
Each title on the list is linked to the table of contents of the most recent issue. Click a journal title link to go to the Current Contents Connect Browse Journals page.
Error including document: A document with id 3238-TRS does not exist.
To set up an RSS (Rich Site Summary) feed:
The product automatically notifies you when a new issue has been added to Current Contents Connect. You do not need to renew the alert in order to continue to receive RSS feeds.
This column shows the status of the e-mail alert. If the status is Off, and you wish to turn it on, then click the Renew button.
If the status is On, the expiration date will display. Click the Renew button to renew the alert for one year beyond the displayed date.
Specify the e-mail address to receive the e-mail and an e-mail format. Use a semicolon (;) and a space to separate multiple e-mail addresses. The default value for this field is your registration / sign-in e-mail address.
The format of Alert Options is Plain Text.

Click the Add Journals button to go to the Add Journals page.
Step 1: Find the titles that you want to add to your journal list by using one of three methods.
Step 2: For each title that you add to your journal alerts list, select either or both of these options:
Step 3: Click the Submit Selections button to complete the processing of your request.
Alerts have three states: On Off, and Expired.
Click the Renew button to renew On and Expired alerts and to renew the expiration date of active alerts. Once you click the button, the Alerting status for Expired alerts changes to On and the expiration date is six months in the future from the current date.
Select the check box of any journal name if you wish to remove that title from the Journals Alerts page.
If you remove a title from the home page or cancel the e-mail alert, the title remains on the Journal Alerts page unless you select the journal and then click the Delete button.

To view your journal alerts and list, you must be a registered user and you must sign into Current Contents Connect.
What is a RSS Feed?
RSS stands for Rich Site Summary (also known as Really Simple Syndication).
RSS is a content delivery vehicle also known as a web feed. Data is in XML format. Content distributors publish frequently updated news and other Web content in many places on the Web. Users can subscribe to an RSS feed and receive the updated content as it is published. RSS feeds can include full or summarized text and metadata such as publishing dates and author names.
