Publication Name Index

This index allows you to select one or more publication names to add to your search query. It contains the names of all publications indexed in the product.

Move To Option

  1. Enter a title or the first few characters of a title in the text field.

  2. Click the Move To button to go to a list of titles that begin with the characters that you entered.

  3. Click the Add button to select a title from the list. The selected title is added to the text box at the bottom of the page.

  4. Click OK to transfer the selected title(s) to the search page.

Find Option

  1. Enter a word or phrase in the Find field. Wildcards (* ?) are permitted.

  2. Click the Find button to go to a list of titles that contain the words that you entered. For example, the search term food quality finds publications with this phrase anywhere in the title such as Safeguarding Food Quality.

  3. Click the Add button to select a title from the list. The selected title is added to the text box at the bottom of the page.

  4. Click OK to transfer the selected title(s) to the search page.

Browse Option

Click a letter (A-Z) or a number (0-9) to browse through a list of titles alphabetically or numerically. This feature is useful if you do not know the full title of a particular journal or book.

Did You Know ...

The selected timespan appears in the right-hand corner of the page. The index contains all searchable titles for this timespan.

Editing Search Terms

You cannot edit or remove a selected title from the text box at the bottom of the page. You can, however, edit or remove a title when you return to the search page.

Search Tip

Booleans (AND, OR, NOT, and SAME) are treated as regular alphabetic characters. Do not use them in your search.
