Searching the Publication Name Field

index

Enter a full or partial publication name followed by a wildcard (* ? $). For example: Cellular* finds Cellular Microbiology, Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, Cellular & Molecular Biology Letters, and more.

Always join multiple titles by the OR Boolean operator. Do not use AND, NOT, NEAR, and SAME when searching for publications because the product will return an error message.

Using "AND" in Source Titles

The word "AND" is always treated as data in journal names and never treated as a Boolean operator. When searching for journal and book names that contain the word "AND" in the title, enclose the word in quotation marks ( " " ). For example, Cell "AND" Tissue Research finds records of articles published in Cell and Tissue Research.

Note that you can also enclose the entire query in quotation marks. For example, "Cell and Tissue Research" also finds records of articles published in Cell and Tissue Research.
