Searching the Cited Title Field

You may enter a full title, a partial title, or one or more individual terms from the title. Combine individual terms with search operators (AND, OR, NOT, NEAR). Use wildcards (* $ ?) to find variant spellings or both singular and plural forms of words.

Enter the name of the title along with the author's name, if known. Enter the name of the cited work along with the volume niumber, issue number, and page number. For example:

Cited Title: Purification of a New Neurotrophic Factor from Mammalien Brain
Cited Work: EMBO Journal
Cited Volume: 1
Cited Issue: 5
Cited Pages: 549

Using Quotation Marks

Use quotation marks to find exact phrases and to turn off lemmatization and the product's internal synonym finder. For example:

  • "soil drainage" finds soil drainage, but not drainage of soil.

  • "mouse" finds mouse, but not mice.

  • "color" finds color, but not colour.
