All Databases Search

The SciELO database is fully integrated with All Databases so you can perform an All Databases and find SciELO records.

Languages

All data (including articles titles, abstracts, and author keywords) may appear on the Results and Full Record pages in English, Portuguese, or Spanish.

Diacritical Characters

When performing a search, you may search either with or without diacritical characters. Diacritical characters are displayed in the results set. However, when performing a search within a search aid, do not use diacriticals in the search query. The system also removes diacriticals from search aid Results, Refine Results, and Analyze Results for more consistent results.

About Citation Indexes

A citation index contains the references cited by the authors of the publications covered by the index. You can use these references to do a cited reference search. This type of search enables you to find works that cite a previously published work.

About the All Databases Search

The All Databases search function allows you to search all products in your institution's subscription at the same time. It is available to institutions that subscribe to two or more products.

If your institution subscribes to only one product (for example, Web of Science Core Collection), then you will not have an All Databases option. In this instance, since you have only one product to search, the system takes you directly to that product's Search page.

To access the All Databases search option, go to the drop-down menu to the right of the Search label in the banner region.
